preSERVE Blue Wall serves the areas of Oconee, Pickens and Anderson Counties SC. We are committed to preserving historic structures in our region, from the simplest barn to to two story cabins, with an emphasis on Appalachian structures and architecture. We work on projects for historic sites, museums and private building owners

DONE THE RIGHT WAY

Old buildings are finicky. They tend to be out of square and sometimes out of shape. But we don't mind. It takes a historic style to mend the historic structure, and we maintain high standards and believe in quality hand work. We'll be breaking out the chisel as much as we fire up the circular saw.

54 YEARS OF PRACTICE

Our office has been here over 50 years, we are just branding our preservation arm in 2021. We have been responsible for moving entire structures, starting museums and historic sites, and saving crucial structures from collapse. preSERVE is our move to try to save more historic structures, in more places.

THE BLUE WALL OF SC

Our stunning stretch of the Blue Ridge is known as the Blue Wall. All 3 of our counties are in the Appalachian Regional Commission and Council of Governments. They represent a diverse and unique subset of Appalachian culture, and our architecture reflects that. Our eye is always on protecting structures that exhibit that Appalachian style and character, for future generations to enjoy.
